Comoncy Cafe has officially opened its fifth location at 10900 Wilshire Blvd. #170A in the Tishman Speyer building on the corner of Westwood Boulevard.
Comoncy serves coffee as well as a healthy New American-style breakfast and lunch in a communal-style space. Diners can enjoy a fresh meal, or a latte or cappuccino accompanied by their house-made pastries.
At the forefront of Comoncy’s unique third-wave coffee program is its organic Equator Coffee blend, brewed using a custom-built La Marzocco coffee machine. The coffee program also incorporates organic milk sourced from Clover Farms, house-made vanilla syrup made with beans from Madagascar, and a wide array of espresso drinks such as the Gibraltar or Cubano.
Chef Joseph Gillard, fueled by his passion for farm-to-table cuisine, has curated a menu focused on innovative items from sandwiches including their popular savory Chicken Panini, to innovative salads like the Thai, with distinguishing ingredients such as housemade chili-roasted peanuts, crispy garlic and peppadew peppers. Comoncy’s breakfast options not only include organic egg dishes, but also contemporary spins on breakfast classics like their French Toast featuring Greek yogurt and agave syrup.
“We are excited to provide a fresh face to coffee and food on Wilshire Boulevard, as well as serve the community with both reliable and fresh corporate catering options for local businesses,” said CEO Kevin Khalili on the new location.
