Crafters Welcome! Bring Your Projects or Color with Us – Treats Included
Chrissy Carr, Adult Librarian at the West Los Angeles Regional Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library at 11360 Santa Monica Boulevard, has invited residents to come by the library tomorrow for a relaxing and creative session. Bring any ongoing crafts (BYO!), or simply enjoy coloring with our provided pencils and markers. Treats will be available, making it a laid-back afternoon.
The event takes place between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. If you have a craft project that you need some space or inspiration to complete, you can bring it by the library, where the librarian and others will gather to have fun, craft, chat, and snack. If you don’t have a project, no worries; stop by the library because they will also have colored pencils and paper for you to create with.
Additionally, last Saturday, we hosted a two-part Power Hour class on various types of renewable energy. Surprisingly, we completed the entire program in one class, so we’re offering the full experience again this Saturday, January 20th. If you missed out, here’s your chance to participate. Please note that this program is most suitable for ages eight and above. Bring the family and get ready to generate light with your own efforts.
The renewable energy project will give examples of electric, water, and solar power; join them for this informative session. All you have to do to attend is RSVP via phone at (310) 575-8323 or email WestLA@LAPL.org
