LAPD asking the public for help in recovering stolen dog

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) West Los Angeles Division are asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen dog taken from the vehicle of an elderly woman.
According to the LAPD, the crime happened on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at approximately 9:30 a.m., on Sepulveda Boulevard at Olympic Blvd and was captured on surveillance video seen below. The suspect, a male wearing a red hat, black jacket, carrying a black backpack, opened the victim’s car and stole her dog.
The dog’s name is Lucy, a beige Terrier mix and was last wearing a red collar, according to the LAPD.
