DWP Weekend Work on Constellation Blvd. West of Avenue of the Stars

Advanced utility relocation (AUR) for DWP will continue this weekend, Friday, April 20 at 7pm to Saturday, April 21 at 6am in Century City along Constellation Blvd. between Avenue of the Stars and Solar Way. The work will include excavation and trenching for the installation of a power line, installation of traffic control devices, and trench plates on Constellation Blvd. This work will occur on the south side of Constellation Blvd. and will stop eastbound traffic at Solar Way.

  • From Friday, April 20 at 7pm to Saturday, April 21 at 6am.

Access Info

  • Parking for the Westfield Mall will be accessible from westbound Constellation, Avenue of the Stars and Century Park West.
  • Craft Valet and parking for Century Park Towers will be accessible from northbound Avenue of the Stars and westbound Constellation.
  • At least one westbound lane on Constellation Blvd. will be open from Century Park East to Century Park West.
  • Southbound Avenue of the Stars will be reduced to one at Constellation Blvd. but will continue thru to Olympic Blvd.
  • Eastbound Constellation to Century Park East will be accessible from northbound Avenue of the Stars.

Noteworthy

  • All work has received necessary permits and approvals.
  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance.
  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones.
  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained.
  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone.
