By Dolores Quintana
If you need a romantic meal for two that is a little different, Eataly LA is offering a luxurious cooking class for two at La Scuola for $430. This is the description of the class from their website:
“In awe of the most romantic time of the year, we invite you to La Scuola for an evening in Italy for our Valentine’s Day inspired Seafood Dinner. For this cooking class, Chef will walk you through preparing a three-course seafood feast. With seasonal and Italian ingredients, come together with your significant other to cook together and create a delectable and romantic Italian dinner that tastes like amore by the sea. In this class:
Couples will explore the art of Italian cooking through the ingredients, aroma and savoring of their cooking.
Prepare their three course dinner with the guidance of Chef of La Scuola, including learning how to shuck fresh oysters, prepare a risotto and dessert, from start to finish.
Toast to love and food with complimentary wine pairings throughout their meal.
Take home adapted recipes and wine tasting notes of the dishes.”
The menu includes appetizer bites prepared by the Chef, fresh oysters with mignonette and lemons, risotto with shrimp and tiramisu. The menu is prix fixe and cannot be altered to accommodate dietary restrictions. If you have any questions, you can email La.lascuola@eataly.com.
There’s nothing quite as romantic as cooking together, but you can try it this Valentine’s Day at Eataly. You can book the class on the Eataly website here.
