Elton John will perform a free concert at noon today at the site of the old Tower Records store on Sunset Boulevard.
The singer made the announcement last night and again this morning on his official Twitter account.
The performance, at 8801 Sunset Blvd., also will be streamed live on AOL.com.
The 68-year-old pop star released his latest album earlier this month, titled “Wonderful Crazy Night.”
John will host his annual Oscars viewing party Sunday night at West Hollywood Park.
