Collision occurs on Beverly Glen Boulevard Wednesday afternoon

At least one person is dead following a Westwood traffic collision Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the incident was reported at 3:31 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Beverly Glenn Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision resulting in four total patients. One person is deceased. as a result of the crash. According to the LAFD, two trapped persons were freed from the wreckage of separate vehicles. Both have been transported in critical condition to a regional trauma center. One other person has minor injury, and it is yet unclear if they will be transported by ambulance.
No information is available on patient ages, genders, affiliation and circumstances surrounding the crash.
“Unconfirmed information is that 2 (uninjured?) children may have been taken in a private vehicle (by a family member?) prior to LAFD arrival,” the LAFD wrote in a 3:54 p.m. notice.
