Feedback is a Good Thing

First of all, thank you for all the great feedback regarding our new format. I don’t think we heard a single negative all month, and we heard lots and lots of positives.

We are still ramping up and will be delivering more improvements in the months to come, so stay tuned.

Our new website is up and running and we’ll continue to load it with tons of great content.  We want WestsideToday.com to be a great resource for anyone who wants to know everything about the Westside.

It will take just a short while before our website really hits its stride.  In the meantime, check out one little feature.

In the upper right-hand corner of our site, click on “movies†and see what happens.

The pull-down menu is already linked to theaters in Beverly Hills, Century City, Westwood and Santa Monica.  So the moment you decide which town you want to drive to, we can tell you what movie is playing and when. I’ve shown this feature to a few friends, all agree it’s pretty darned convenient – and faster than any other online method of finding local movies and show times that I’m aware of.

Then take a few minutes and look around the rest of the site. Click on “contact us†and send a letter to the editor.  We’d love you to tell us what you think of the things we’re up to these days.

Don’t forget, we’re just getting started, so keep coming back. WestsideToday.com is going to get better and better.

If you like what you see and need a website, please contact our website designer, Robert MacArthur. He’s good at what he does, he’s very easy to work with and is reasonably priced. Get in touch with him at www.56redwebdesign.com

Getting back to movies for a moment, ‘tis the season! Get out there and enjoy what so many of our friends and neighbors play such a huge role in producing. It’s good for the local economy.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the Screen Actors Guild doesn’t go out on strike.  Not only would we miss their product, but our economy doesn’t need another hit.
