A fire damaged a home in the Hollywood Hills Tuesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 5700 block of Hill Oak Drive at 9:17 a.m. extinguished the flames in 32 minutes, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“An unauthorized hobby drone was reported over the fire, causing an appreciable distraction to firefighters and a life safety concern to those aboard an assigned LAFD helicopter,” Humphrey said.
Police were investigating the issue, he said.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
