The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (PAC) announced its enthusiastic support today for Los Angeles County Assessor candidate Jeffrey Prang.

“The Hollywood Chamber PAC is proud to declare its support of Jeffrey Prang to be L.A County’s next Assessor. In his over twenty years of public service, Jeffrey has earned a reputation as an effective and innovation leader in local government, as a Mayor and Councilmember, and as a public administration professional,” Hollywood Chamber of Commerce PAC chair Laurie Goldman. “The business community needs an Assessor who will put fairness and responsiveness as his number one priority. As the current Special Assistants Assessor, the Chamber PAC believes that Prang will bring the experience and commitment necessary to provide the Office of Assessor with the stability and reliability that has previously been lacking.”

Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s PAC also stated it supports Prang’s mission to restore the public trust to the Assessor’s office and guarantee that taxpayers are assessed fairly and provided with the best public service, including public education about available services within the office that are designed to help Los Angeles County residents. Specifically, the Chamber Board stated it supports Prang’s commitment to update the department with 21st century technology that will increase efficiency, accuracy and fairness for Angelenos.

“As a member of the West Hollywood City Council, I’ve worked on many projects to benefit our neighborhoods. I share the Hollywood Chamber’s commitment to successful small businesses and responsible fiscal management. I will bring that commitment to the Assessor’s Office,” Prang stated.
