By Dolores Quintana
Pizzeria Sei, a Neapolitan pizzeria where the wood fired pizzas are made in a Japanese style, is now open at 8781 W. Pico Blvd. which is the corner of Pico and Robertson as reported by The Los Angeles Times. Pizzeria Sei is husband and wife restaurateurs Jenn So and William Soo’s first restaurant. Chef Joo has previously cooked in the kitchens of Angelini Osteria, Pizzana, Providence and Ronan. The restaurant does not yet have a liquor license or do BYOB or have a corkage policy. On the website, due to increased demand, there is a note that online orders could be curtailed at any time and that online orders will be unavailable on Fridays through Sundays.
You can pre-order and pick up your food on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until five, so with a little pre-planning, getting a pizza or other dishes from Pizzeria Sei can be done. You have choices of antipasti, prosciutto or Tricolore or Salami salads, pizze, Margherita, Napoletana, Bismarck or fior di latte, prosciutto cotto, egg, pecorino, basil, truffle oil, sea salt or Bianca. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays but is open from Wednesday to Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
