Join Broxton Nights for ‘Friendsgiving’ in Westwood Village and Light Up the Season

Holiday Vibes, Good Food, Roller Disco, and Holiday Tree Lighting For Festive Fun

By Dolores Quintana

Broxton Nights, a popular monthly roller disco and market event, is back with its “Friendsgiving” edition, marking the kickoff to the holiday season. Located in the heart of Westwood Village, this festive gathering promises a delightful tree lighting ceremony, exclusive specials for friends attending together, and an array of joyful activities. Tickets are free, and you can RSVP on the Eventbrite website

Join the Night Market hosted by @farmhabit, featuring a variety of vendors. Groove to the beats of DJ @soundboxtruck and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Experience the thrill of roller skating with LA Skate Hunnies and rent skates from @thebasicsofhappy_skate. Learn the art of roller skating with beginner skate lessons.

Please note that rental skates will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to secure your size. Skate rentals are available for both kids and adults at $16/night. For those new to skating, free beginner lessons will be offered. Protective gear, including helmets, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads, will also be available for purchase.

Embrace the holiday spirit with the event’s non-holly-day specific tree lighting ceremony. Get creative with crafting at Splatterz. Satisfy your taste buds with food trucks offering delectable treats. Enjoy refreshing drink specials.

Event Schedule:

  • 5:00 pm: Event Opens, featuring a speech by local officials.
  • 5:00 pm – 8:15 pm: Roller Skate Pop-Up.
  • 5:30 pm: Beginner Skate Lesson 1.
  • 7:00 pm: Beginner Skate Lesson 2.

This event invites you to explore a curated selection of artisan vendors while immersing yourself in a fun and funky roller disco.
