Celebrate Community Unity With Police, Fire, and BH City Departments
On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Beverly Hills will host its annual National Night Out event, showcasing the Beverly Hills Police Department’s (BHPD) Motor Unit. The event will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a special motor demonstration scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The festivities will be held on the 400 block of North Rexford Drive in front of the Beverly Hills Library and Fire Department.
National Night Out is a nationwide campaign that fosters police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to promote safer and more caring communities. The event helps to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and residents while providing a positive environment for interaction.
The Beverly Hills event will transform North Rexford Drive into a block party featuring various city departments and services. Attendees can enjoy kid-friendly interactive activities, department displays, and more. Key participants include the Beverly Hills Police Department’s Motor Unit, K-9 Unit, SWAT, Mobile Command Center, and RTWC Drones, as well as other city departments such as the Fire Department, Public Works, Community Services, and more.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available at the Rexford/Civic Center Parking Garage at 450 N. Rexford Dr. However, attendees should note that the 400 block of North Rexford Drive will be closed to traffic from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
