Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center has been designated a top hospital and leader in cardiac care, in the areas of heart failure, colon cancer surgery, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2016-17 Best Hospitals for Specialty Care rankings.
Cardiac care is a great source of pride at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles, which was one of 26 Kaiser Permanente medical centers, to receive the “high-performing” designation, the highest rating given, for congestive heart failure treatment.

The 27th annual ratings, considered to provide an objective assessment of hospital care excellence, are based on the evaluation of the nearly 5,000 medical centers nationwide on common and complex care. U.S. News created Best Hospitals for Specialty Care to help patients find hospitals that deliver outstanding care across 25 specialties, procedures and conditions.
Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles is one of 28 Kaiser Permanente hospitals to be honored among the nation’s finest medical centers for both common and complex care, according to the report.
