Ken Ehrlich will receive the 2,541st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Wednesday for making possible many of television’s most memorable music moments.
Grammy host LL Cool J and singers Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and John Legend will join Ehrlich in speaking in the 11:30 a.m. ceremony in front of the Capitol Records building.
The ceremony comes 11 days before Ehrlich produces the Grammys for the 35th consecutive year.
Ehrlich has received Emmy nominations for three of his Grammy telecasts, as well as “The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles,” “Eric Clapton: Nothing But The Blues,” the syndicated drama “Fame” and the 1983 special, “Grandpa, Will You Run with Me?”
Ehrlich has also produced fundraising concerts following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and Hurricane Katrina, the U.S. portion of the “Live 8” event in 2005 and “In Performance at the White House” with Mick Jagger, Buddy Guy, Bob Dylan, Justin Timberlake, Aretha Franklin, Ariana Grande and B.B. King.
Ehrlich also created the MTV Movie Awards and the “VH1 Divas” concerts.
