Man uninjured in Saturday incident on Mulholland Drive

An LAFD helicopter hoisted a elderly man to safety after his vehicle went off the side of a Beverly Crest road.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), on May 8 around 12:50 p.m. a single vehicle went over the side of the road near 8900 W Mulholland Drive in Beverly Crest.
“Firefighter-paramedics located the driver in a remote area away from the vehicle,” said LAFD spokesperson Nicholas Prange.
According to the LAFD, the elderly male patient was unable to make it up the steep grade to road level. He did not appear to be injured, but was still hoisted by LAFD Air Ops and delivered to a local fire station for firefighter-paramedics for a medical assessment.
