Fire breaks out in Barry Avenue home Wednesday

Firefighters made quick work putting out an attic fire that broke out in a Sawtelle home Wednesday.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the blaze was reported at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday in a home at 2673 S Barry Avenue.
29 LAFD firefighters took just 23 minutes to confine and extinguish flames within the attic of the 1,092 square-foot one-story home, according to the LAFD.
No injuries were reported.
The fire cause remains under investigation.
According to the Citizen App, police asked residents on Barrington Avenue, near the fire, to evacuate their homes.
