Saturday morning fire put out in 17 minutes
The LAFD made quick work putting out a fire that broke out in a West Los Angeles home over the weekend.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the incident was reported on Saturday around 10:25 a.m. at 2135 Veteran Avenue.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a one-story, single-family dwelling with light smoke showing.
“Firefighters entered the structure and, finding it clear, made access into the attic where they located heavy smoke,” the LAFD said.
It took 18 firefighters 17 minutes to put out the fire in 17 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The cause and damage inflicted by the fire have not yet been determined.
