UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital hosted Kaleidoscope 5: Light, its fifth annual Kaleidoscope celebration bringing together 750 VIPs and influencers from the worlds of art, fashion, design, and entertainment for an evening to raise money for the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and UCLA Children’s Discovery and Innovation Institute, Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 3LABS in Culver City.
The event grossed an astounding $2.35 million to support these world-renowned organizations and their visionary doctors, diverse researchers, and talented staff. While honoring donors, celebrities and chefs for their contributions, the hospital also presented its Extraordinary Children’s Award to 12-year-old Kaiis Davis Jarrahy, for his enthusiastic spirit and courage.
