8532 W Pico Blvd store serving up baked goods, falafel and more

Lodge Bread Company has expanded into its third location as reported by Eater Los Angeles in Pico-Robertson. Owners Or Amsalam and Alex Phaneuf have taken over the vacant Hasiba space at 8532 W Pico Blvd and are also bringing back some of the popular items that Hasiba served, like falafel and freshly baked pita bread. They have also brought the Lodge Bread lineup of breakfast and lunch dishes. You’ll find almond butter toast on their freshly baked and naturally fermented bread, breakfast sandwiches, pastrami melts, Jamon beurre and pita sandwiches stuffed with cauliflower as a vegetarian option.
The redesigned space keeps the walnut finishes of the original restaurant along with the black tiles and the minimalist Craftsman vibe that you will also find at the other Lodge Bread locations. This restaurant can seat 12 diners with additional seating at the counter and 14 seats outdoors.
Lodge Bread company also has the coffee and tea menu that you would expect from the breakfast and lunch-centered restaurant. You can pick up full loaves of bread as grab and go, along with the restaurant’s pastry offerings. Unlike the other options, this location will not flip to the brand’s Full Proof Pizza in the evenings like the Culver City location. You will however find shakshuka, a smoked fish plate, and three versions of the restaurant’s house-made hummus.
