Mayor Eric Garcetti is scheduled to visit Sacramento for the first time as mayor today, meeting with Gov. Jerry Brown and legislative leaders.
Garcetti is also scheduled to meet with Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, D-Sacramento, Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins, D-San Diego, Sen. Kevin de Leon, D-Los Angeles, and Assemblyman Mike Gatto, D-Los Angeles.
Garcetti will meet with legislators in the African American, Asian Pacific Islander, Latino, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender and Women’s caucuses. He is scheduled to return to Los Angeles tonight in time to speak at the A Better LA foundation dinner.
