Learn how to make beautiful holiday cards with that personal, hand-made touch at the City of Malibu’s monthly Creative Workshop, Friday, December 2, 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Malibu City Hall. The registration fee is $5 per participant with a $15 material fee, and participants will go home with a variety of holiday cards. Reservations are required by calling (310) 456-2489 ext. 239 by November 25.
Send your sentiments from the heart with a handcrafted card. Instructor, Mattie Garske will teach paper crafting techniques and students will learn how to use a variety of scrapbooking tools. Leave the holiday themed workshop with an array of completed cards to send to family and friends.
The Holiday Card Making Workshop is part of the City’s Creative Workshop series, which offer an opportunity to learn and create something new every month. Workshops take place on the first Friday of each month at Malibu City Hall. The next Creative Workshop, January 6 learn how to make a mini-floral wreath with dried floral elements; and February 3, Chocolate Making Workshop, in time for Valentine’s Day. The workshops are open to participants of all ages, but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
