Man Found Dead in West Los Angeles Home (Update)

Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Angelo Armani Eppolito-Autry, it was announced Monday.

Eppolito-Autry was found dead at his West Los Angeles area home Saturday afternoon with multiple gunshots, according to the Los Angeles Police Dept. (LAPD). Police had reported it as a murder from the get go and began a homicide investigation.

The investigation reportedly led to the arrest of 31-year-old Gerson Sanchez of Lakewood, Calif.

According to police officials and news reports, Sanchez is being held on $1 million bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

The LAPD also reported Sanchez worked for Eppolito-Autry and the duo had an ongoing dispute over money.

Sanchez remains the lone suspect at this time.

The LAPD reported its officers reported to a call of a potential homicide in the Beverly Glen area of Los Angeles just before 4 p.m. on April 12. Gun shots were heard from inside Eppolito-Autry’s residence by his neighbors at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, according to the LAPD.

Police officers added Eppolito-Autry was reportedly found by a co-worker after the shooting.

When officers arrived at Eppolito-Autry’s home on the 10000 block of Westwanda Drive, they discovered him with multiple gunshot wounds. Los Angeles Fire Dept. officials pronounced him dead at the scene.

Beverly Glen is just above Holmby Hills and Westwood, adjacent to Bel-Air.
