A man lost control of his moped and fell on a Pacific Palisades roadway and was run over by a car today, authorities said.
It happened at 2:03 p.m. on Topanga Canyon Boulevard near Falls Drive, police said.
It appeared the moped rider was going too fast and lost control, police said. He either hit the ground first or a car and the car ran over him.
The rider was taken to a hospital for treatment.
