Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will join Vice President Joe Biden today for a roundtable discussion on ways to develop clean technology and job creation in the Southland and nationally.
The event will be staged at the L.A. Cleantech Incubator, founded in 2011 to serve as the hub of the city’s economic strategy to create a green economy and become less dependent on “foreign fuels.”
Biden is scheduled to arrive this morning. He will attend a Democratic fundraiser this evening and spend the night in Los Angeles before departing Tuesday.
