74 units at corner of Missouri and Bundy
An affordable housing complex being built on city land in West LA is now accepting applications.
The project, dubbed “Missouri Place” is located at the southeast corner of Missouri and Bundy, between Santa Monica Blvd. and Olympic Blvd, at the site of the former West LA Animal Shelter.
74 units–funded by HHH for low and very low-income affordability levels–will be built on the site, which is close to parks and public transportation, including the Expo Line Bundy Station. One, two and three-bedroom units will be available, with rents ranging from $1,600-$2,343. 37 units will be supportive housing units for people who have experienced homelessness.
The complex, which is set to open next summer, is now accepting applicants for its affordable unit lottery until October 12. Applications are available at the AccesshousingLA.org site, missouriplace.com and physically at the property site.
