A grass fire started near Palisades High School by car’s hot exhaust line damaged a few vehicles on May 15.
Firefighters were sent to a school parking lot in the 15700 block of Bowdoin Street about 8 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Dept. (LAFD).
An automatic alarm at the school prompted a brief evacuation, but no structures were damaged. No injuries were reported.
