Pacific Palisades Weekly Crime Update

Below is a list of the most recent crimes in the Pacific Palisades area by the Los Angeles Police Dept. (LAPD) West L.A. Division. The weekly report was published April 22. With the exception of one incident, the report covers the week between April 16 and 22.

ROBBERY: None

GRAND THEFT AUTO: 1 incident at 17300 Pacific Coast Highway on April 17 between 12:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. The suspect took victim’s vehicle from the street.

BURGLARY/THEFT from MOTOR VEHICLE: 3 incidents.

– Monument Street and Sunset Boulevard on April 16 between 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a briefcase.

– Sunset Boulevard and Temescal Canyon Road on April 16 between 3:30 p.m.and 6:30 p.m. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a purse, money, and makeup.

– Sunset Boulevard and Temescal Canyon Road on April 16 between 5:10 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a purse, wallet, and money.

– 17300 Pacific Coast Highway on April 18 between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took an iPad and iPhone.

ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: None

BURGLARY: 1 incident at 1000 Corsica Drive, between April 17 at 11 a.m. and 4/18/14 at 7:30 a.m. The suspect entered victim’s home through a window and took a safe box and jewelry.

THEFT
Grand: 1 incident at 800 Swarthmore Avenue on April 4 between 7:26 p.m. and 7:31 p.m. The suspect (white male, black hair, 5 feet and 7 inches, 165 pounds, 25 to 30 years) walked into victim’s business, took skin care products, and left location without paying.

VANDALISM: None
