UCLA police seek suspect in connection to July 19 incident

Police are searching for a suspected wanted for punching and robbing a patron outside a Westwood Village grocery store.
Accoridng to the UCLA Police Department, on July 19 around 8:05 p.m., the suspect approached the victim who was seated in the outdoor dining area of Ralphs and stole her backpack.
“The victim confronted the suspect and asked for her backpack back. The suspect punched the victim, causing injuries to her face, and fled with the backpack,” UCLA police said.
Police describe the suspect as a Black male, 30-35 years old, black hair, 5’10”, 160 lbs wearing a dark colored t-shirt, black pants and black shoes.
