A 45-year-old man wounded in a shooting in Marina del Rey is expected to survive and the search for suspects continues, authorities said today.
Deputies responded at about 12:15 p.m. Sunday to a report of a person down in the 14000 block of Panay Way, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Detective Clarence Williams said.
Upon arrival, they found the victim being medically treated by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel for an apparent gunshot wound to his body, Williams said.
He was taken to a hospital, where he is expected to survive, according to Sgt. K. Harrison of the Marina del Rey sheriff’s station.
No suspect information was available, Harrison said.
