Authorities Wednesday circulated security video of a man being stabbed in the neck by another man in the Beverlywood area, as they sought public help to find the suspect and a female companion.
The crime occurred about 8:20 p.m. March 21 in the 2300 block of South La Cienega Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The wounded man rode his bicycle to a nearby hospital, where he was treated and released, police said. He told police that he and the suspect became involved in an argument.
“The altercation escalated, and the suspect removed a knife from his right rear waistband and stabbed the victim on the left side of his neck,” according to an LAPD statement.
The suspect was described as Hispanic, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing about 175 pounds. He was accompanied by a woman described as Hispanic, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing 135-140 pounds.
The pair apparently left in a silver, late-1990s to early-2000s Toyota 4Runner SUV.
