Police are searching for a man wanted for sexually assaulting a female UCLA student while she slept.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), on August 27 around 4:00 a.m., a suspect entered an apartment unit, located in the 11000 block of Strathmore Drive, where several female UCLA Students were residing. The suspect, described by police as “a male White or Hispanic”, entered a bedroom where one of the female residents was sleeping and sexually assaulted her as she slept.
“The victim awoke and confronted the suspect, who ran from the apartment and fled the area in a vehicle that was parked nearby.,” the LAPD said.
According to the LAPD, the vehicle driven by the suspect was a late model gray Ford Fusion 4-door and was last seen southbound on Veteran Avenue, from Levering Avenue.
