Online voting to determine at which of four home games the Los Angeles Rams will wear their throwback jerseys closes at 6 p.m. Tuesday (http://www.therams.com/throwbackvote.html).
The choices are the team’s regular-season opener Sept. 10 against the Indianapolis Colts, the Oct. 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks, the Nov. 26 game against the New Orleans Saints and the Dec. 31 regular-season finale against the San Francisco 49ers.
Votes can be cast on the Rams Facebook page, facebook.com/rams, via Twitter at twitter.com/ramsnfl and on the team’s website at therams.com/throwbackvote. Fans voting on therams.com/throwbackvote will be entered into a sweepstakes to win two tickets to one of the throwback games along with a customized throwback jersey.
Voting opened Monday.
Voting on another set of games will be held from 9 a.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. Thursday. The games will be announced on Wednesday. NFL rules limit teams to wearing throwback jerseys to two home games per season.
The Rams throwback jersey is the royal blue and gold jerseys they wore from 1973 through 1999.
The Rams were 1-1 in throwback jerseys last season, wearing them in a 9- 3 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the first NFL regular-season game in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum since 1994 and a 22-21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
