Reports of a man with a gun on a Venice Street turned out to be false alarm, but a suspect was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, police said today.
At about 7:30 p.m., officers received reports of a man at Grand Boulevard and Riviera Avenue holding a weapon, Sgt. Gregory Probst of the LAPD’s Pacific Community Police Station said.
Responding officers did not find an armed suspect, but did arrest a man for disorderly conduct, Probst said.
