Road Closures Ahead: Vanity Fair’s Oscars Party Returns to Beverly Hills

Star-Studded Post-Oscar Awards Event Will Take Over North Crescent Drive

Vanity Fair will once again host its prestigious post-Academy Awards party in Beverly Hills, setting up on the 400 block of North Crescent Drive, adjacent to City Hall, on Sunday, March 2.

To accommodate the event, road closures will begin well in advance as crews assemble a large tent in the area. North Crescent Drive, between North Santa Monica Boulevard and South Santa Monica Boulevard, has been closed since Monday, Feb. 17, and will remain closed until 10:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7. Despite the closure, all businesses on North Crescent Drive will remain accessible, and local parking garages will be open. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.

The traffic will intensify as the event draws closer.

On the evening of the event, additional road closures will impact traffic near the venue. From 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, until 2:00 a.m. on Monday, March 3, the following areas will be affected:

  • North Cañon Drive will be closed between North and South Santa Monica Boulevard.
  • Eastbound lanes on South Santa Monica Boulevard will be impacted from Civic Center, with closures extending from Rexford Drive to North Cañon Drive.
  • Traffic detours will be in place, routing vehicles north and south on Rexford Drive.
  • Eastbound lane closures on North Santa Monica Boulevard will be in effect from Rodeo Drive to Rexford Drive.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and expect delays in the area.

For more details, including a closure map, visit beverlyhills.org/vanityfair or contact the City’s Special Event line at 310-285-2408 (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). A dedicated hotline will be available on event day from 5 p.m. to midnight at 310-550-4680.
