By Chad Winthrop
Los Angeles transportation officials recently activated a traffic signal at a dangerous Pico Boulevard intersection.
According to Los Angeles City Councilmember Paul Koretz who represents Century City and Westwood, on November 5 the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) activated a new traffic signal at the intersection of Pico Boulevard and Holt Avenue.
The project was funded by the LADOT Vision Zero program as the newest measure to improve pedestrian safety along Pico Boulevard between La Cienega Boulevard and Robertson Boulevard where the Department had responded to a number of accidents involving pedestrians along this busy shopping corridor.
