SHARE Hosts 57TH Annual “BOOMTOWN†Event

The fabulous, philanthropic ladies of SHARE are back and better than ever and will be hosting the 57th Annual “Boomtown†event on Saturday, June 5th at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. This year’s recipient of SHARE’s “Shining Spirit Award†is actress, author, humanitarian and philanthropist, Jamie Lee Curtis. There will be a special guest performance by Tony and Grammy Award winning performer and the original “DREAMGIRL†, Jennifer Holliday.

Jamie Lee Curtis is the daughter of Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, who was a longtime, active member and one-time President of SHARE. “The ladies of SHARE are thrilled to be honoring the multi-talented Jamie Lee Curtis,†states SHARE Chairman of the Board Joan Rush. “We anticipate this year’s star-studded evening will raise a record amount of money for our charities†.

The theme of this year’s BOOMTOWN event is “DREAMGIRLS†and the dancing SHARE ladies will be performing four numbers aptly titled “SHAREGIRLS.â€
