LAPD’s SWAT team continues to search for a a 27-year old Latino man who was lying in wait with a gun inside the apartment of his girlfriend when she returned to her Palazzo Westwood apartment complex in Westwood Village around home at 4 p.m on Tuesday.
The woman called police after leaving the apartment. Initial reports suggested he was barricaded in the apartment with other individuals. Police say they had communicated with a second individual who was in the apartment and that the person is ‘not a hostage.’
LAPD searched the two bedroom apartment using a drone and robot and found no one inside, said a spokesman.
