The Skirball Puppet Festival is set to take place on Sunday, April 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. This event promises to be a delight for all ages as puppets of all shapes and sizes will be on display throughout the festival.
Attendees will be treated to a variety of puppetry performances from some of Southern California’s premier puppetry acts. There will also be two puppet parties featuring live music, adding to the festive atmosphere.
In addition to watching the performances, festival-goers will have the opportunity to create their own puppet using imagination-sparking materials.
Tickets for the Skirball Puppet Festival are still available for walk-up visitors, priced at $18 for general admission, $15 for seniors, full-time students, and children over 12, and $13 for children aged 2 to 12. Members and children under 2 years old can attend for free, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note that advance reservations for the festival are now sold out. The museum will be open until 5:00 p.m., but Noah’s Ark and the Archaeology Dig will be closed for the duration of the festival.
The Skirball Cultural Center encourages those interested in attending the festival to check their website for updates on walk-up ticket availability. An alert will be posted on skirball.org when walk-up tickets sell out.
