On May 28, 2013 Gold and 95 others driving classic cars left Beijing headed for Paris with Gold behind the wheel of his 48-year old Porsche 911, repeating for only the fifth time since 1907. You can hear about Gold’s adventures while dining on a menu designed by Patina’s Master Chef Joachim Splichal that will mirror the route of the rally, with food inspired by Chinese, Russian and French cuisine amidst the Petersen’s impressive car collection all while benefitting the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, a 10,000 plus membership organization that brings speakers of international note to our City of Angels. Guests will also hear Executive Director of the Petersen Terry Karges give a short talk about the museum’s renovation plan and enjoy an evening amongst the Petersen’s impressive classic car collection.
