The Phelps Group Earns Two Magellan Awards for Tahiti Tourisme

The Phelps Group, an integrated marketing communications (IMC) agency announces that it has been awarded two Magellan Awards from Travel Weekly for its broadcast work for Tahiti Tourisme.

The Phelps Group’s “Ultimate Wave Tahiti: Beyond the Wave” video won a gold award in the destination marketing – promotional video category. “Beyond the Wave†gives viewers an in-depth look at the islands of Tahiti and was created as a companion piece for “Ultimate Wave Tahiti,†the feature documentary that immerses audiences in the story of an ocean wave and the lives it impacts and transforms.

Tahiti’s “Closer Than You Think” took a silver award in the destination marketing-TV commercial category. Both videos were integral components of Tahiti Tourisme’s integrated campaign, which includes digital and print media strategies.
