“There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so,†was written long ago by Shakespeare. The aphorism, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he†was taught over 2000 years ago in Proverbs. Henry Ford observed that, “If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.†Think about these teachings now!
Thousands of books and articles have been written about the importance of our active daily thinking. Norman Vincent Peale popularized many of the concepts in “The Power of Positive Thinking†and other works. Practical financial applications were stressed in such classics as “Think And Grow Rich†(Napoleon Hill) and many motivational writings. And do you remember “The Little Engine That Could†? (“I think I can, I think I can…†etc). “The Secret†and “What The Bleep?†have introduced many to various mental concepts. Every type of health issue has been addressed by mental or spiritual practitioners.
Get familiar with some of these teachings yourself. Consider the writings of Ruiz (Toltec wisdom), Walter (Eschatology science), Assaraf, Dooley, Demartini (and others in “The Secret†). Most importantly though, if you would like different experiences, experiment for a week in using different thought and feelings, with intention and focus, and watch what happens!
