A three-car crash on Malibu’s Pacific Coast Highway forced a closure and resulted in one person being airlifted to a hospital, authorities said today.
It happened about 2:10 p.m. on the eastbound part of the highway at Carbon Canyon Road, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Shawn Ruda said.
Two lanes were closed and reopened about 4 p.m., he said.
One person was hospitalized with unknown injuries, Ruda said.
No other injuries were reported and the crash was under investigation.
