After a warm introduction by City Councilman Bill Rosendahl, the mayor seemed relaxed and almost jovial, enjoying the banter with constituents.
He said he was proud that, during his term, crime had fallen to levels not seen since 1956 and that transportation issues were making real headway.
The Expo Line, slated to go from Downtown all the way to the Sears Building on 4th Street near the Santa Monica Pier, is due to be completed in 2015.
