Wednesday afternoon crash results in multiple injuries

A collision on the 405 Freeway in Brentwood this week sent seven people to the hospital.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the incident was reported on Wednesday at 1:35 p.m. on the 405 Freeway near Mulholland Drive.
The LAFD says at least two vehicles collided, resulting in seven patients.
One patient was in serious condition, one in moderate condition and five were in fair condition, according to the LAFD. A total of four LAFD ambulances transported one or more patients each to a local hospital.
The incident resulted in heavy traffic in both directions on the 405 Freeway.
No further details have been released by the LAFD.
