A 10-to-15-foot section of a tree fell across Via Marina in Marina del Rey Thursday night, slowing traffic in the area, authorities said.
The incident was reported to the Marina del Rey Los Angeles County sheriff’s station about 8:30 p.m., a desk officer said.
It fell across much of Via Marina near Bora Bora Way, sheriff’s Sgt. V. Chow said.
“We’re just waiting for (county) public works department to remove it,” Chow said.
