Trevor Noah Takes $1 Million Loss in Sale of Bel Air Mansion

“Daily Show” host sells property for $26.4 million

By Dolores Quintana

“Daily Show” host Trevor Noah just sold his Bel Air mansion for $26.4 million, taking a loss of $1.1 million on the deal as reported by Celebrity Net Worth.com. The estate was originally listed for sale at $30 million and Noah purchased the property in 2020 for $27.5 million.

The name of the buyer has not yet been revealed, but according to Celebrityworth.com it is believed that the buyer may be a celebrity or a music executive from HYBE America, which is the US branch of the South Korean management company that has the K-Pop sensation BTS as a client.

The estate is a home that a celebrity would like to purchase as evidenced by Noah’s ownership of the estate. The estate is spread out over a full acre of land and the house itself has nearly 11,400 square feet of living space with six bedrooms and nine and a half bathrooms. The home also has a gym, club room, wine room with a secret elevator and a library. The home was designed by architect Mark Rios.

The home’s listing on the real estate agent’s website has this description of the house:

“A masterpiece of restrained, understated design. Quality and craftsmanship are evident throughout every inch of the museum-level design, with attention to detail second to none. Enter through the main private gated motor court, or separate discreet staff entrance with a gate. The living areas are flooded with natural light throughout and flow seamlessly from indoors to outside. Fabulous outdoor spaces include a pavilion with an outdoor kitchen and infinity pool. The timeless design is thoughtfully executed and combines not only significant spaces for entertaining but also perfectly scaled private spaces for comfortable everyday living.”
