High Surf will batter the Southern California coast one more day today.
A high surf advisory will be in force in Los Angeles County until 6 this evening. In Orange County, where a high surf advisory was initially scheduled until 1 p.m., it will last until at least 8 p.m.
The high surf and attendant rip currents are the result of swells generated by Tropical Storm Marie, which was previously a hurricane.
