This Restaurant Has A Beautifully Curated Menu and Innovative Cocktail Program

By Dolores Quintana

True Food Kitchen, known for its chef-driven approach and commitment to healthy, flavorful cuisine, has opened its doors in Westfield Century City.

Founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, an integrative medicine specialist and advocate of anti-inflammatory food, True Food Kitchen’s new location features a meticulously curated menu and an innovative cocktail program, all designed to provide a delightful dining experience.

With this new addition, True Food Kitchen expands its presence to 44 locations nationwide and fifth in Los Angeles, inviting locals and visitors alike to indulge in a wellness-focused culinary journey during lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

True Food Kitchen Century City showcases a captivating blend of art and design, with a stunning floor-to-ceiling mural of the restaurant’s iconic “Green Goddess” created by the talented husband and wife artist duo behind Chalk and Brush. This indoor artwork symbolizes both joy and natural, wholesome nourishment.

An outdoor installation featuring colorful foliage layers and a living succulent wall adds a playful touch to the restaurant’s exterior. The interior design encompasses an open floorplan with a centrally positioned island bar adorned with hanging LED pendant lights inspired by the modern lamp posts of Century City. Full-length accordion glass doors connect the dining room to the spacious outdoor patio. With a seating capacity for 139 guests indoors and 142 outdoors, True Food Kitchen Century City provides an inviting atmosphere that captures the essence of dining in Los Angeles year-round.

True Food Kitchen Century City introduces its guests to the recently launched spring menu, which showcases a harmonious blend of comfort food and fresh, vibrant flavors. The menu offers a variety of shareable plates, such as Edamame Dumplings with dashi, white truffle oil, and herbs, as well as Seasonal Burrata with artichoke, asparagus, fava bean, caramelized onion vinaigrette, and grilled bread. Savory entrees like the Spaghetti Squash Casserole featuring organic DiNapoli tomato sauce, caramelized onion, zucchini, and fresh mozzarella, and the Kimchi Fried Rice bowl with sustainability-sourced kelp kimchi, forbidden rice, roasted mushrooms, asparagus, edamame, and a Vital Farms jammy egg, showcase the restaurant’s commitment to culinary excellence.

To satisfy sweet cravings, guests can choose from an array of desserts, including The Pink Lime Tart with ube, marcona almond-date crust, and coconut whipped cream, or the Flourless Chocolate Cake with caramel, marcona almond, vanilla ice cream, and cacao nib. New additions to the menu include the Tuscan Kale Salad, featuring organic kale, lemon, garlic, parmesan, and breadcrumbs, as well as the O.G. Grass-fed Burger, a hearty option made with umami mushroom, caramelized onion, organic arugula, parmesan, and mayonnaise. On weekends, the brunch menu offers a delightful twist on classic favorites, such as Strawberry Quinoa Pancakes, Bison Sausage Breakfast Pizza, and Breakfast Tacos, alongside fresh smoothies and delectable pastries.

True Food Kitchen’s commitment to quality extends to its beverage offerings. Partnering with high-quality, responsible labels like Gray Whale Gin and Prairie Organic Vodka, the restaurant exclusively crafts cocktails using fresh, handmade ingredients, infusions, and garnishes.

Guests can choose from signature favorites like the Citrus Skinny Margarita, while the Century City location also offers seven exclusive cocktails not found at other True Food Kitchen venues. Notable highlights include Tee Time, featuring chamomile-infused Tomatin Dualchas whiskey, Barrow’s Intense Ginger, and lemon.

The Coullon is a spin on the classic Italian negroni made with Aviation gin, Cynar, and Carpano, and the Green Apple Collins, which combines Prairie Organic vodka, Fiorente elderflower, green apple, and lemon. Non-alcoholic options include the Pink Lemonade with dragon fruit and lemon, Sparking Prickly Pear Tisane with prickly pear, hibiscus, and lime, Matcha Horchata with oat milk, cinnamon, matcha, and vanilla, and Apoptogenic Tulsi Tea with holy basil, ginger, and honey.

A thoughtfully curated selection of locally and globally sourced wines and a rotating lineup of domestic beers on tap complements the beverage menu.

You can make reservations for brunch, lunch, and dinner through OpenTable. True Food Kitchen Century City also offers catering menus for businesses and event planners, accommodating groups of all sizes. Orders can be placed by calling the restaurant or online via the catering website
