Two men were arrested Sunday on suspicion of carjacking a Rolls Royce in Beverly Hills, authorities said.
The blue Rolls Royce was reported carjacked at 8:41 p.m. in the 600 block of North Maple Drive, said Beverly Hills police Sgt. S. Smollen.
Patrol officers spotted the car shortly after it was stolen and the suspects crashed it and bailed out at Wilshire Boulevard and Oakhurst Drive, Smollen said.
A containment was set up and one suspect was found inside the perimeter, he said.
A ping from the victim’s stolen cellphone helped officers find the second suspect in the Pico Boulevard-Beverly Drive area, Smollen said.
The carjacking victim was not injured, he said.
